See what your AML/CTF AI workflow actually does.

Most compliance vendors show you slide decks and pricing tables. We let you run a real customer due diligence intake — for a real estate purchase — and watch the AI extract beneficial owners, screen for sanctions and PEP, score the risk, and draft the AUSTRAC record. Same workflow we deploy in your firm in 14 days.

The Sprint · 4 Workflows

What you actually get when you book

The CDD intake you just walked through is one of four AI workflows we deploy in the AML/CTF AI Sprint. Here's how they connect inside your firm.

Architecture

Four AI workflows. One audit-ready trail.

Every action in any workflow lands in the same audit-trail database. AUSTRAC inspectors get one searchable history, not four spreadsheets. The AI never lodges anything itself — your principal or MLRO reviews and signs off before submission.

CDD Intake Agent You just walked through this

Beneficial-owner extraction, ID verification, sanctions/PEP/adverse-media screening, AUSTRAC-mapped CDD record.

  • Initial CDD obligations · AML/CTF Act 2006 (amended 2024)
  • Outputs CDD record + risk score
  • ~3 minutes per onboarding

Ongoing Monitoring Watches every record

Daily check against sanctions list updates, ASIC director changes, adverse media, beneficial-owner movements.

  • Ongoing CDD obligations · AML/CTF Rules 2025
  • Alerts in Slack / email when anything changes
  • No human chasing watchlists

SMR Draft Assist Triggers from the CDD agent

When risk crosses threshold, the AI drafts a Suspicious Matter Report with reasoning, statutory framing, redaction-ready text. Principal reviews and lodges via AUSTRAC Online.

  • SMR obligation · tipping-off offence (reformed Mar 2025)
  • Within 3 business days of risk trigger
  • Principal-only access

Training Register Auto-generated audit trail

Every staff action becomes a training-register entry — who completed what module, when, with what assessment score. Inspector-ready PDF on demand.

  • Staff training obligation · AML/CTF Act 2006 (amended 2024)
  • 7-year retention by default
  • Auto-renewal reminders 30 days out

All four workflows run on AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2). We hand over the prompts, configurations, and integration credentials at handover — no lock-in, no per-call surcharges. We work alongside your AML/CTF Compliance Officer or MLRO, not in their place.

AML/CTF AI Sprint Limited capacity before 1 July · 5 spots remaining

14 days. $4,500 fixed. Live before 1 July.

From kickoff call to live workflows in 14 days. You bring your AUSTRAC enrolment number and your sector starter kit; we customise the program, build the four AI agents, train your staff, and hand over a system your principal can sign off on.

$4,500 fixed · all four workflows · staff training included
Where this sits. Software-only options (InfoTrack, easyAML, AML Shield, TrustSoft) give you a form to fill in — usually $0–$350/mo. Pure compliance consultants charge $10K–$50K and then leave. The Sprint is the middle path: a built, integrated, AI-driven workflow you own, deployed in 14 days for a fixed price. You keep the prompts and credentials at handover.

FAQ

About this walkthrough & the Sprint

This is an interactive walkthrough — scripted scenarios with mock data, so the page loads fast and you can play with it without a signup or paying for live API calls. The actual workflow we deploy in your firm is powered by Claude (Anthropic) and a sanctions / PEP / adverse-media data feed running on AWS Sydney. The animation timing is compressed for the walkthrough; the steps and outputs are accurate to the real product.

Those are good software options if you want a form to fill in. They give you fields, checklists, and a place to store records — which is what the AML/CTF program requires. The Sprint is a different shape of solution: an AI agent that does the extraction, screening, and drafting work for you, integrated into your existing intake. Think of software-only tools as the spreadsheet; Square AI is the analyst that fills it in. The two can co-exist — most of our clients keep their existing practice management or trust accounting tool and we layer the AI workflows on top. We're priced higher than software ($4,500 once vs $50–$350/mo) and substantially below pure compliance consultants ($10K–$50K). You own the system at handover.

The SMR draft is exactly that — a draft. It pre-fills the AUSTRAC SMR fields with the entity details, the statutory framing, and a suggested narrative. Your principal or MLRO reviews and edits before lodging. Final lodgement happens through AUSTRAC Online by an authorised person at your firm. The AI never lodges anything.

The AI handles standard discretionary trusts, unit trusts, and Pty Ltd structures with up to about 5 layers of beneficial ownership reliably. For unusual deed variations, side deeds, foreign trusts, or layered structures with offshore entities, the agent flags the matter for manual review by your principal rather than guessing. We carve those edge cases out of the Sprint scope explicitly during onboarding so there are no surprises. The principal-verifies-and-signs handover is non-negotiable.

Australian region only. Customer records, CDD documents, training-register entries and SMR drafts all sit on AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2). Anthropic processes inference on AU region endpoints; no customer data is used to train models. We document the exact data path during onboarding and you can audit it any time.

The Sprint includes integration with one practice management or trust accounting tool — LEAP, Actionstep, Smokeball, Property Tree, Box+Dice, MRI, Xero, MYOB, Karbon, FYI Docs, Class Super, BGL CAS 360 are the ones we ship most often. Additional integrations are quoted on top.

You keep the prompts, the configurations, the integration credentials, the data exports. If you leave us, the workflows keep running on your accounts. The optional $300/mo retainer covers monitoring and updates — cancel any time, your system stays live. We make money by being good, not by trapping you.

No. Square AI is not an AUSTRAC-regulated entity and does not provide legal advice. We build the workflow that operationalises your obligations under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (amended 2024). Your AML/CTF program should be reviewed by a qualified compliance professional or your peak body before lodgement. We work alongside your compliance advisor, not in place of one.
